Dear Colleague

NATIONAL DISPUTE – UPDATE

The company accepted our offer for fresh talks and these began on Wednesday 23rd October.

In commencing these talks the company also agreed that the previously rejected offer was off the table and they confirmed that they would make a new improved offer on the key aspects of the dispute.

At this stage no new offer has been forthcoming.

The Union will serve notice on the 28th October and the current situation is that the 24 hour strike on the 4th November will go ahead. The detailed start and finish times of the 24 hour strike will be published once the formal notice has been served on Monday.

Further information will be published in due course.

Any enquiries should be addressed to the DGS (P) Dept.

RM have probably realised the previous pay offer will now incur a lot of back pay, I just pray the union doesn't agree to a similar under inflation pay deal minus back pay then tell us its a great deal....I know its not all we are going on strike over just irritates me we are owed near £400.

I couldnt agree more after saying we want a groundbreaking deal thats what im expecting but cant see somehow

The Big March November 4th - any timings or itinerary available? It should be good with it being the largest since 1971.
