I think its the same criteria they used last year - I will check my records over the weekend and post if it was or was not.
However on the sick leave side I cant see anything about him loosing any money. AFAIK you only loose it if your off a full 7 days and then only when on Special Pay Pension Rate or Sick Half Pay.
The only time people loose otherwise is when on Official Strike Action the whole unit looses 3% per day, and anyone goes on unofficial strike the whole unit loose 10% per day.

The Christmas bonus supplement will be £100 for full time OPG and OSGs (pro-rated for part timers). The eligibility criteria for the Christmas bonus payment will be the same as last year, based on the four December weeks and with same abatement criteria for industrial action as used previously, drawn from the PBS agreement. Payments in 2006 will be made on Friday 21 December.

does anyone know for sure whether any absence means that you fail to qualify for the bonus or whether a percentage is taken off????
it says it applies from 26 Nov for 4 week and yet we only find out about it on the 12 Dec .......
a colleague of mine has an exemplory attendance but had 2 days off sick in early Dec, does this mean he will fail to qualify for the bonus????
my sinicism tells me this is another cost cutting exercise at our expense, hurts even more so after getting shafted with this accepted deal.

My "Christmas Timetable" doesn't include ANY mention of a Bonus. We were also told a couple of weeks ago that we wouldn't be getting one. The least they could do is tell us WHY we are being singled out like this!
