annual leave with 2 sentences

hope somebody on here can help me
my first sentence with royal mail was from 1983 till 2002 (19 yrs )
my second sentence and still running is 2007 till present date (3 yrs )

am i right in thinking the way foward agreement, had a part in it that said " any broken service is added together" reguarding postpersons annual leave ..........i know seniority is lost but something in the back of my mind keeps telling me that i could be entitled to more than they are offering me ...22days

Hopefully somebody can put me right on this situation and i can march into the d i m's office armed with fact's and "demand" whats oweing me

I'm sure that is what you get on entry. It changes after 5 years i think.

You are right about AL,it happend to me.but i can't remember where it is written down.I will try to find out,i think it is in the Way Forward,you could ring the advise and support at Sheffield who should know the answer. your Rep should know the number and he may be able to find out about the AL.

It is the Way Forward...

All periods of service on a temporary or permanent contract (with periods of casual service included only if they run continuously into a temporary or permanent contract), except for those on unpaid leave, SPPR, or with HM Forces exceeding 15 days, will count towards calculating leave due. Previous periods of PO service may be counted for this purpose.

Thats good to hear. I've also had 2 sentences with RM Might have to look into it. Now I've got to dig out the thread with the entitlement x amount of years = x weeks Does it go up in 5's ie 5/15/20years?

On entry = Four and a half weeks.
After 5 years = Four weeks 3.5 days.
After 15 years = Five weeks 1 day.
After 20 years = six weeks.

1) I ask for one week

2) I get the week before
