I got annual worldwide for 2 adults for £38 and the cover was better than the post office

as always check exactly that what you require is covered before you buy

I use moneysavingexpert for everything, credit cards, travel insurance, contents and building insurance, utility providers, flights, the list is endless. I've found this site to be cheaper than any other. I bought travel insurance the other day off this site for 2 adults and 2 children for 2 weeks for less than a tenner.

Not when you consider what you get for the money. One of my relatives, has a serious medical condition. There's only a few companies who're willing to provide cover for her. And of those, The Post Office is by far the cheapest. And it also provides better cover, than the others too. :hmmmm

Not sure how good these cheaper insurers are if you actually have to make a claim.
I use the PO insurance and found them OK when we had to make a claim for delayed flight last year.
I don't know if they cover volcanic ash though :nervous - will have to ask them when we renew this year.
You don't need to know the code, just phone and tell them you work for Royal Mail and they will give you the discount.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
