is it true that there is d.o ?
have heard from a postman at d.o that they had park and loop put in place 2 years ago but they have not had a full resign even though all the walks changed ? if that is true that is the end of seniority than.once they do that in one office they will do it in every office

Re: is it true about livingston d.o ?
Almost true.
It's 18 months and as far as i'm aware the decision on whether or not to have a repick has been in the hands of the members.
The latest i've heard is that some form of repick is about to take place.
I don't personally agree with what has gone on but....it's not my office.

Happened in my office, manager said they hadn't changed enough, union as usual sat on it's hands and asked for meetings but................

should the area rep not have step in and made the office have re-sign that is why we have national aggrements so this sort of thing does not happen.
i know there probably a lot of opg that would not want a re-sign in that office but what about the ones that do.

Yes and no.england wrote: should the area rep not have step in and made the office have re-sign that is why we have national aggrements so this sort of thing does not happen.
Major change should trigger a repick and no-one should be able to stop it but what are you going to do if no-one in an office wants a repick....force them?
Is that the case here?
I don't think so but i'm not going into details on here as to what makes me think that.

Lots of problems up here, especially with the PA area rep who is agreeing 115% bsi for all revisions in his area, Paisley Revision just about to fall flat on its face and our office revision due to finish soon its going to be a disaster we are being bullied into things and thats by the rep not the manager, DOM says thats the way it is and advises us to speak to Area union rep who just backs him up, its scandalous
