THE Press understands that a member of staff at Royal Mail's delivery office in Dunfermline has tested positive for coronavirus.
Workers at the Woodmill Street office were told at around 7.30am this morning (Monday) that a female employee had a confirmed case of COVID-19.
It is understood that she was sent home on Saturday morning and three other workers who were in contact with her have also been asked not to come into work.
A source told the Press: "Saturday morning she came to work.
"She was made aware by a friend that they had coronavirus and that she had been in contact with her that week.
"On Saturday she got tested and result back that was positive over the weekend.
"Was sent home Saturday morning."
The Press have been told that the office will remain open with a deep clean of the woman's work area and van to be carried out.

What about the frame she was double prepping. And the IPS where she was working/clearing down?
And the toilets she used? And the PHG locker where she went to collect her Specials? The area she cleared parcels from?
Anywhere else she might have coughed and spluttered?

Surely test and trace would point to a large majority of the office to be isolated?
Can never work out why this doesn't happen.

Only ‘close contacts’ are being contacted by Test and Trace and being asked to self-isolate.

Now let's be honest... :cuppa
