Every chance a General Election,could be called for around the time of the ballot result,is this likely to have any effect on royal mails thinking, and will election material by law get any preferential treatment if we do strike .

I don't know for sure but I would say lining up industrial action with the delivery requirements for general election materials is probably our optimum chance for finding a decent result from the dispute. Failing that it would be Xmas present buying time but none of us really want to do it then. All we want is a fair crack of the whip and to see the new crazy delivery idea binned.
