Staff at Largs Post Office have asked for kindness following abuse towards staff.
The post office has been hit by covid-19 cases in recent days, and was forced to close for an hour earlier today.
A spokesperson has asked residents to bear with staff as they cope with the latest challenges.
They said: "There have been times lately when some customers have been unkind to members of staff, especially the younger ones.
"We do our very best for our customers and don't deserve to be treated badly."
