I sent a package internationally tracked from the UK to the US on August 13th and it arrived at Langley HWDC on the 14th, and since then it has been stuck on ‘being prepared for overseas’.
How long does this usually last for as it’s been about a week now and I’m getting concerned.

What's the contents? Sometimes the contents can cause problems with customs in the destination country

Cologne is banned under the International Air Transport Association rules. You can send it within the UK under very strict rules, but absolutely not to another country.

Ahh I wasn’t aware of that! Will they just take the cologne out of the package and send the rest of the stuff on?

Hopefully, although I believe Royal Mail would be within their rights to destroy the whole thing.
