Rail
Our rail network services operated to schedule over the weekend.

Road
Our road network services operated to schedule over the weekend

Mail Centres
The Mail Centre below reported not all mail was processed or despatched to schedule over the weekend. As a result, some mail may be delivered later than planned.

Swansea Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the SA postcode area on Friday, for delivery on Saturday in other parts of the UK.
Truro Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the TA postcode area on Friday, for delivery on Saturday in other parts of the UK.

Deliveries Today
We aim to deliver to all addresses we have mail for, six days a week. In a small number of local offices, this may temporarily not be possible due to local issues such as high levels of sick absence, resourcing, or other local factors. In those cases, we will rotate deliveries to minimise the delay to individual customers. We also provide targeted support to those offices to address their challenges and restore our service to the high standard our customers would normally receive.

We're sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding. We will regularly update customers on the offices most impacted here:

Altrincham DO (WA13, WA14 and WA15)
Andover DO (SP9, SP10 and SP11)
Auchterarder SUDO (PH3 and PH4)
Bristol South East DO (BS4 and BS14)

If you need to collect an item for which we've left a 'Something for You' card, please check royalmail.com/services-near-you for details of our Customer Service Point locations and opening hours.

Severe flooding in the Downpatrick BT30 postcode area

There may be some disruption to our delivery and collection services in the Downpatrick area (BT30) due to severe flooding as a result of the river Quoile breaching its banks, making some roads inaccessible.

The majority of services are operating where it is safe to do so, but there is some disruption to deliveries and collections – including post boxes.

Collections from business customers are temporarily suspended. Where possible we’ll notify customers in advance if collections are not taking place.

Our Customer Service Point is open, however usual access is restricted due to flooding.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

We'll update this article with more information as and when it becomes available, so please check back for the very latest news.

Movement of mail through our network
Royal Mail operates an air, rail and road network to move letters and parcels between our distribution hubs, mail processing centres and delivery offices around the UK. Here we let you know about any significant issues in our logistics operation.

Air
Last night not all mail was able to travel on the flight from East Midlands to Exeter. This was due to high volumes of mail arriving late and not enough time for them to be screened. This mail was re-routed via the road network. As a result, some mail due for delivery today in the far South West of England may arrive later than planned.

Rail
Our rail network services operated to schedule over the last 24-hours.

Road
Last night not all mail was able to travel on the vehicle from our Midlands Hub to Medway Mail Centre due to reaching full capacity. Although this mail left on a later service, it's possible some mail due for delivery today in the CT, DA, ME and TN postcode areas may arrive later than anticipated.

Mail Centres
The Mail Centre below reported not all mail was processed or despatched to schedule over the last 24-hours. As a result, some mail may be delivered later than planned.

Nottingham Mail Centre: Some mail posted in the DE and NG postcode areas yesterday for delivery today in other parts of the UK.

Auchterarder SUDO (PH3 and PH4)
Clevedon DO (BS21)
Glastonbury DO (BA6 and BA16)
Hailsham DO (BN27)
Margate DO (CT7, CT8 and CT9)
Oxford East DO (OX3, OX4, OX33, OX44 and OX49)
Wrington SPDO (BS40)
