Hi all,
I’m a fairly new starter, started in January, and this weekend I received a letter saying I’d been placed on a first aid course. I’m just wondering if it would be unreasonable of me if I said I didn’t want to do it just yet as I’d rather concentrate learning the job itself as I’m still working on getting quicker etc.. before jumping into other responsibilities.
I feel like they’ve added me to the course as they need a certain amount of people, rather than specifically requesting me.
Thanks

Re: First aid course
It is voluntary.
Tell them you don't want to do it.
