Why would RM get a cut if they own and manage Angard? Subcontracting things ends up wasting money and the quality goes down hill. Same principles apply with council subcontracting.
If what i have heard is anywhere near the full truth, Reed deal with angard but RM is there only customer so that to me is a outsourced inhouse agency.

To a previous poster, how are you privy to such information? Are you an Angard employee?
No denial that shortcuts happen or are practiced with the amount of workers on the books.
Definately not working in the sticks.

Angard staffing has only one customer - royalmail.
It only makes a small profit. It pays Reed to administer the service.
At the end of march 2022, there was a pool of approx 8500 casuals on the Angard payroll.
All this info and more can be seen in their report and accounts.

Regarding allocation of shifts, any corruption / discrimination is nomally down to the management at the mail centre.

Dont forget friends and families of royalmail staff get priority when it comes to shifts and xmas casual opportunities.

Also the trend is to reduce the number of long term angard casuals on high rates.

However, royalmail wouldnt get the work done without the use of casuals!
