Do agency employees receive mandatory Manual handling training every 3 years same has Royal Mail employees .

Bosses should receive this as ours push 10 yorkes at a time and dont use the handles and on many occasions nearly hit people and bang into walls ,i've told them on numerous occasions but they just laugh, this is how much they take it seriously.

I can only speak for ‘my’ MC.

Was shown the Manual Handling procedures when I joined as a Christmas Casual (twice) and then when I joined Angard >6 years ago.

No refresher training since other than supervisors/Acting Managers occasionally calling out “Just one york at a time!”.

No refresher about handling large parcels and over-filled bags.

Seems to be no refresher training for agency employees at Royal Mail sites after that have been site inducted surely they must have a skills Matrix for all agency staff attending Royal Mail site .All Royal Mail employees have refresher Manual handling training every 3 years .
