Got a text this morning via JoinedUp. Quick skim of time and date 9am - 5pm and for a shift a fortnight away (21st January). Bit random thinks I, then I read the detail - Training Named.
New one on me. I've only had a specific detail on the booking during Christmas pressure when they definitely want me on letters and off packets, so presume Training Named is a thing.
Thinking it isn't a regular shift because a fortnight's notice seems a bit too organised plus the 9-5 seems irregular (to me anyway).
I've not signed up for any training (do such things exist?) nor had anything mentioned by shift managers so very intrigued. Anyone shed any light on it?
Thanks.

Re: Training Named - shift?
Do you work at Nottingham by any chance? I’m thinking of “Named” Freepost letters, but probably way off the mark.
The only shift info I’ve seen is “Tracked Trained” or “Distribution”.

Re: Training Named - shift?
I'd forgotten I posted this.
The mystery text referred to me having been put forward for a training day on the FSM. Another string to the bow but since the training I've had one shift so we'll see.
