Hi there. I have recently joined your bank of workers leading up to Christmas. I am having trouble finding out anywhere whether there is a commitment to work every week. I have family visiting over the two-week Christmas period that I haven’t seen for two years. I therefore would not be wanting any bank hours in that two weeks. I just wanted to check this was okay before actually starting in November? Many thanks

The offer letter says that you'll need to inform Royal Mail about periods of time not being able to work, so you'll need to speak with your manager about that and find out. Otherwise if you miss 3 periods of work they might cancel your contract.
