Our MC used to hand out hi-vis jackets so everyone knew when near them that they might do something unexpected- for their protection as well as ours.

This year, management are trying to save money so no hi-vis provided.

Could be ‘interesting’.

Was issued with Hi-Vis jacket.
Ask for some gloves too to help handling and sorting mail.
Personally I wear my own steel toe cap shoes in case of dropping items and protection with equipment around mail centre such as the york trolleys.
If you work in the distribution area they may issue you with safety shoes
