What's next, "I stopped using RM stamps when they portrayed that Bowie idiot on them last year.."
You two need to develop a sense of perspective....as if anyone in that Big Wide World outside of RM actually gives a wossname what's on the stamps....

No, but if nobody really use stamps anymore then your premise is somewhat pointless.="RobertT"]We all know that nobody really uses stamps anymore, but that isn’t the issue under discussion!

Well we're coming up on 2021, which is 100 years since the partition of Ireland ... That was certainly and undeniably momentous occasion that "shaped the lives" of many people, so should we have a stamp for it? I mean it would just be a stamp and not a political statement? And I'm sure Sinn Féin, dissident republican terrorists, Irish Nationalists in general (on both sides of the border) and the Government of the Republic of Ireland would all agree with that position?Tman wrote:Most people probably don't know what's on the current stamps and care even less. Well if no-one's going to care about a Brexit stamp, why should the Royal Mail go to the expense of designing and producing one? Shouldn't they concentrate their efforts and money on things that people will/do care about?

No it wasn't.
They're not doing it end of story.
Only you wanted to know why not ( everyone else kind of figured it out )
but you didn't give any valid reasons why they should.
All you did was tell everyone they're wrong.
