AVC and lump sum

22 May 2020, 15:46

I am a deferred member of the NRA60 pension and also have a Equitable Life AVC pension valued at £5909
I am planning to take the maximum lump sum and wanted to know if the maximum 25% which is approx. £18000 on my NRA60 comes out of the AVC completely or are both pensions added together as a pot and then the 25% lump sum is calculated ?
Thank You

Pension x 20 + lump sum + AVC's = total pot value.

You can take a maximum of 25% of the total pot value as tax free cash.

What is the current value of your NRA60 at 60 pension? What age are you now and what age will you take your pension.
