This may be useful to some. When I recently made my choices of Pension & lump sum, in the pack there was no mention of sending ID with the forms you were returning. Included in the pack was an idiot proof checklist and no mention of ID on there either.
I returned the completed forms and heard nothing for 3 weeks. I rang Capita and was told they were waiting for my ID choice, I explained the obvious and to say they were puzzled would be an understatement. Anyway, I sent ID separately, it was received and the Pension has been processed for payment next month.
To summarise, either my pack was missing a document or there is an issue which clearly will cause problems, I did mention this on the follow up call I made to hopefully avoid any further confusion.
