You can see how the investments are doing on an up-to-date daily/weekly/monthly basis as well - well that is what I do with these and my ISAs as well. I keep a spreadsheet and update accordingly. Just grabbed the downloadable pdf of the March 2017 statement.
Paper copies get sent out in the post (possibly mid-late summer) as well, although they may be out-of-date (in terms of how your particular investment fund is doing) when you get them.
