Today I had the highest number of times that managers had said thank you to me for doing a good job in a single day. They just kept racking up to a total of eight sessions in one day! I do not need to be thanked ever by them and always find it a total mystery when they do. I know that they get ordered to thank us by their shift managers, but don't they see that it seems so false coming from their lips, when none of their personalities matches with real gratitude. Yet they continue on. They must have an enormous willingness to do what ever their shift manager says. Then someone pointed out to me that today is the last day of the have your say survey, where there is now only five days in which to post your form. The people who become managers at mail centres are cold and empty bodies. With no conscience they are willing to stoop very low to increase that bonus.
