Fake stamps sold on Ebay

Post by Faststamp »

Should there not be a place online to report fake counterfeit stamps sold on eBay, not unused not cancelled but fake sold as new mint booklets or business sheets.
I have just bought some and officially have to return them for a refund unless there is some Royal Mail section to stop the return. This cannot be right.
I have been a collector for years so know what the look for.
I hope someone can help. Buying and naming and shaming the fake selling will in the long term stop this and make eBay suspend the seller whether they like it or not because they do turn a blind eye to it. Stopping it comes from us the public and RM employees.

There is:

You can report them on Ebay:

To the right of the "Description" and "Postage and Payment" tabs is a report link. In there is a specific section for "Stamps" and though I couldn't go further without making a false report I am sure there will be a comment section.

You can report them to Royal Mail:

There is also this page on the Royal Mail site https://www.royalmail.com/report-stamp-fraud
