You must think i am pretty naive. The only time you mention the RCP is when an article appears from a British socialist postal writing on the WSWS. We will leave it to postal workers to draw their own conclusions

Yes I do but there's no shame in it.
I was naive once but never pretty.

In Woody Guthrie post he appears to imply that the SEP has the same politics as the now-defunct RCP.

Not at all.

I'm only pointing out that not all who claim to be on the side of the working classes are, some have a far darker and more selfish agenda, some are just misguided and some are guided missiles.

The Revolutionary Communist Party was simply an example.

You mean the Conservatives paying the wages of workers/non workers and more mandatory actions than chairman Mao Zedong next we all will have to do a 250 mile driving test for our eyesight !

The sooner more posties realise the more we fail by 'only doing my job, im not being flexible' makes it more likely RM will collapse and we will loose our jobs, the better.

Absolute horse s**t!

Mail has increased this week alone.
Flexibility and overtime prevents any part timer increasing their contract to full time, so the more you do as a part timer the less likely RM will make you full time, based on your seniority position of course.

why does everyone assume that part time people want to become full time? A great many of us are happy taking £60 quid a day home, its better than full time minimum wage jobs elsewhere.

Maybe that's because a lot of us went on strike and lost a lot of wages / bonuses to get paid breaks, sat premium, driving allowance ect ect and it's being stolen bit by bit. They have got exactly what they want, the part time staff against the full time staff. Yes there are plenty of people happy to make £60 per day but you cannot raise a family on £300 per week before deductions. Your other half needs to work also, just to live a barely comfortable life. You obviously have other income like maybe ex forces pension or something but I work with DWP and I can tell you that the s**t is hit the fan. Obviously the RM needs to change but it seems like the tosspots at the top don't know how. And the sad fact is that for RM to compete with hermes/dpd ect is to make all drivers self employed. No allowance for driving (which parcelforce) still get, no shift allowance ect. The mail centre staff will all be casual/anguard, just like they are now. How the f**k the union have let it get to so many agency in the mail CENTRES and crick is a joke. Backhanders are taking place and I couldn't give two sh***s if you barr me. You all know exactly what's happening. .

Very depressing reading but a fair and critique indictment of this company's ethos and the society we now live in!
