Got a new boss in last few months, total coward and bully at the same time, forces you by ur time pays u no overtime. Union don't care just say if its not
down on a 552 nothing can be done, is this happening in other offices overtime not been written down on purpose, line manager says ill fill it out later, I mean I cant force him to write it out. Next day you ask him all u get is u never told me or ill get it end of the week then bogger off for my long weekend. Constantly bullying to clear , oh u were in early today u cant leave stuff in, u made a mess with trays today no overtime for u get it done.

tell him to f**k off :evil/mad , start on your time and finish on your time . simple . you fill your own o/t out not managers . if the bullying starts get the rep or area rep involved or even better all walk out .

Just work your time and no more , take your proper breaks and use the proper equipment , don't go in early not even one minute . He cannot force you to go over your time and tell him this. Just bring it back what you can't deliver. RM managers specialise in bullying and harassing employees. Take no shite and stick up for yourself.

theirs no overtime sheets now, the manager has to write it down hence its a loophole so they don't write it down, keeps telling me your no f***ing leaving any parcels in none of ur shite! union don't help! no one to turn to anymore

Managers are tw@ts, they want work done properly but don’t pay ot I waited 3 weeks for 1 and a half protracted as Dom kept questioning it so now I am just working my hours and that’s it , take breaks use trolley try neighbors and don’t run there’s nothing they an do

If your rep is being a stooge get in touch directly with the area rep and then the divisional rep and outline what has been going on and the reps attitude to it. This s**t would NOT last more than an hour in our place. And as for the rep.....vote of no confidence and bang in a grievance.

Did he actually use that language ? I understand the problem mate, it must be same in most offices. Some people find it harder to stand up against the doms than others and its sickening to watch. I think its about time the union investigated some of their reps for failing their members.

the problem is union are letting their members down not people not standing up for themselves, majority people do say their leaving stuff in, but if the gaffers adamant ur not everyday, u keep using the cut off procedure just to have the exact same shouting match with the gaffer telling u to f***ing get it clear, and having to go to the union to be witness to the cut off procedure its draining and shouldn't be happening, should be nipped in the bud once and that should be it , not bullied again and again

totally agree, confrontation every day in this job, gets you down having to go in every day being ready for a row with the dom.

Been there, mate, and it's not pleasant. You've only got the two choices we all have: Keep putting up with it, or get tough and deliver to your time. Neither is easy, and will wear you down, no matter how strong willed you are. Technically there is a third option, and that's to whore yourself to management for favours; but that will only work while it works for them.

EXACTLY. This seems to be the problems these days. The union doing nothing but speaking to the press on PR stuff with big headlines. I know it must do your head in but not 1 minute of overtime would I work until sorted. And even though posties should be working CORRECTLY with hcts ect, if the DOM is being a twat then really work to the rules. You know what I mean. They will get missed off before you. After all they are the ones responsible for figures ect. You don't worry a bit, as it's above your pay grade. Come in on time do the job within the rules set down by RM and go home on time. No sorry about the job whatsoever. Any push from managers, bang in grievance. But the union DO need to jump all over this as it seems they don't care any more and getting weaker and weaker and RM are going to go in for the kill. Just stand bye each other, with none of this , part time, fulltime, anguard crap. Divide and conquer is one thing that RM are pretty good at but standing the and uniting and winning was one of the things that OUR union was good at. Don't you all think it's time to get that back, just for self decency at work. :thumbup
