There are so many basic things which a Lino could sort in a day or two if he didn’t leave at 11am to go to the golf course:
*Notes on how to tie up in the walk log.
*Maps in the walk log.
*Flat access codes in the walk log.
*Strange addresses in the walk log (eg 10 King Street which always comes addressed as Tower View, King Street)
*Properly labelled bags (eg Bag 1 King Street). Easier to identify who’s nicking them from your frame.
*Properly labelled york(s) for each round. Should be easier to work out who keeps leaving them in the yard.
*Letting more than 1 person have a key for the storeroom so if the normal woman is off you can still access it and get damaged bags, rubber bands etc.
*Streamlined approach to collecting Specials and van keys. No more having to queue twice.
And for gods sake let’s stop offering multiple free redelivery attempts. Initial attempt then 1 free redelivery then after that a small charge.
I reckon there’s 5 to 10 minutes wasted by each of us here every day, there’s 170 staff here, at best that’s a total of 14 man hours wasted every day.

Sadly it will actually mean that a bunch of faceless people who just about know how to stick a stamp on an envelope will tap stuff into their computer and come up with a wonderful new way of doing things. That wonderful new way will never work in reality and money will be poured away covering all the cracks until someone else does it all again. Whatever anyone does in RM, don't ask the people that do the actual job.
