As has already been said, your duty may have 'had it' (if the USO goes down to 5 days) but with 22 years service they won't be able to just 'get rid' of you.

Will they be able to get rid of the PT floaters who have only done says 6-7 years?

No one really knows.

Personally I think they’ll try and force anyone out of the door who they deem difficult, confrontational or slow - regardless of if they are PT or FT. Eventually if they still need to cut staff it should be done on seniority.
