Can anyone tell me how this works whonis involved and what is bornally the outcome?if nothing is agreed in this stage what happens in stage 4 whos involved? As iam guessing after this stage 4 its tribunal? Thanks

Don,t quote me but normally stage 3 would be either with a view to dismissal or agreement to move back to a previous stage. If dismissal is the outcome then the next stage would be Appeal Stage. If you lose the appeal and you are in the Union then the CWU may agree to take the matter to Tribunal if they believe that you have a better than 50% chance of winning. The CWU may not agree to represent you at a Tribunal but you always have an option to go to tribunal either representing yourself or with council paid for by yourself. If you win then normally any costs you incur would have to be paid for by Royal Mail. Lose and you bear the costs.

After Stage 3 it is either they enforce it by executive action or you ballot for strike action (rule 13)
Or you involve mediation or the courts.
