Service Information for customers
Service Update for all customers on Wednesday 6th January 2010
General Synopsis

Mail collection, distribution, processing and deliveries are taking place across the country today. However, the continued wintry weather, fresh falls of snow and icy road conditions in many parts of the UK are continuing to disrupt services in several areas. The parts of the UK most affected by the extreme weather conditions include: North East Scotland, Southern Scotland, the North of England, Wales and parts of the Midlands.

Several high level roads in the North of England and Scotland remain closed by snow and icy conditions and are making the collection, movement and delivery of mail difficult in several regions today. We are collecting from and delivering to all customers, wherever it is possible and safe for our staff to do so.

More information about how the weather is affecting services in your area is available on the regional information pages.

eventually our dom decided it was too dangerous to go out {7.30) we had to stay in and sort all the mail still around. great when you consider we were all but bullied to go out in worse conditions leading up to xmas, unions no help, so at the end of the day it is down to individuals to say, `its too dangerous` and be prepared to stay in the office until time!!!
come on lets not be bullied by ungrateful rm, and union reps feathering there own nest!!!

"Mail collection, distribution, processing and deliveries are taking place across the country today."

They're having a laugh right? SN/OX/RG did limited deliveries and collections to the SN big firms only. Nothing else came in/went out since the previous 22:00 dispatch. It does mean most of last nights failure was sorted though. Sorry, Controlled Carryover.
