just cancelled my membership to the union as the lack of shifts don't make it worth while . at present im lucky to get 2 shifts a month anyone else in the same position with shifts

2 shifts a month?, that sucks. what depot are you at ? I know its the regular quiet period in the summer but thats ridiculous. Do you wait for them to ring you or do you ring them up and hassle them for shifts ?

I was only offered 4 shifts in June, one of those was cancelled and the others were very quiet. Sod's law I'm booked for tomorrow night and I've done my wrist so will have to cancel.

our union reps r anti agency .are rep on days is also training officer ,he refuses to train agency on bays as the would take work off posties ,as we know its rubbish cos we cant get work if they dont get overtime.
there happy to sighn you up ,but rep for you is another matter.
personaly i think they want us to prop up there subs pot for nothing.
