Postal route changes hit Warrington

RESIDENTS may have to wait longer to receive their post after Royal Mail changed delivery routes in the town.


The changes to routes started on Monday.


Deliveries will still take place in the morning, but a spokesman for Royal Mail said the alterations may mean mail is delivered later in the day.


‘Many’ customers will continue to get it before lunch time.


Royal Mail says it has informed homes and businesses in the town of how they will be affected.


The changes have been made as the postal service looks to save money.
