New RM DVD, hope for us all...?

We have been shown a new dvd from RM today. In it , it is saying that , us as posties, have more knowledge than the planners and the feckin computer programmes that they came up with. ( something we have been saying for months now.) Now they want us to share our knowledge of the walks with them, and the planners will have to listen to us.We as an office have had a our first revision scrapped after 12 months and we are starting again from scrath, maybe that's why we art being shown this video.BUT...what it does say,if you read into it , is that we as posties who stuck to our guns and kept doing the job as it should be done,we were RIGHT....When we kept saying it couldn't be done in the time the computer said. WE WERE RIGHT, when we were accused of performance issues THEY WERE WRONG,when all the bullying and grief was piled on to us , day in day out THEY WERE WRONG. So to all of you guys out there in RM land who are getting s**t on from a great height, just hang in there. But even though they were wrong , there is no hint of an apology.So when you go and "meet the planner, if you have learned any ways to make the walk you are on shorter ,then don't give to much away as it will only add more to your walk.

I've heard alot of planners are looking at getting out. Some are hoping they get a goodbye handshake (a lump sum) and go back into deliveries as OPG's. Think what they thought was a long term job has not turned out to be exactly that.

We told the planners, they ignored it and did what they wanted anyway, they only do what they're told by their bosses so telling them is like trying to hold back the tide, utterly useless.

We were told that hours needed to be put into our office by the planners,so now the dsm doesnt believe them and has handpicked a planning team of his own so they can look into this!

I got 10 hours OT last summer to meticulously plan out the two walks on my P&L duty. All the address points, all the loops, all the frame labels - all the information was provided for them and we went through confirming it on the computer. They still managed to screw it up, so why bother

I know quite a few. Probably thinks he's really great at flying around and superior to the slowies because of this. Standing there prowd as punch infront of his immediate superior, and slagging off the slowies without really realising what he's doing.
