The Plymouth community have been rallying together to make one local little boy's dreams come true.
Beau Dyer, aged 3, has a passion for the popular animated TV series Postman Pat and was stunned when a local postman invited him to join in his daily routine.
The postman, who is unidentified let the toddler empty the post box with him for more than five minutes.
Beau's mother, Lauryn said the random act of kindness gave her son the 'biggest smile he's had in ages'.
Lauryn explained: "We left the shop and Beau started running towards to the postman shouting Postman Pat.
"The postman bent down and asked if he would like to help scan and take the letters out.
"Beau asked where Jess his cat was – he told him she was at home. He must have let him help for a good 5 minutes or so".
Beau's streak of kindness didn't stop here – his local post office continued to fuel his love for Postman Pat.
Post Office manager, Vicki Mcgregor delivered Beau a letter and badges from Postman Pat this week.
The youngster is said to be 'overwhelmed' with his experience.
