CWU Says Public Service Ethos Key for Royal Mail

Responding to the announcement that Royal Mail’s Chief Executive Adam Crozier is to quit the company, the Communication Workers Union says that his replacement must have a strong public service ethos.

Billy Hayes, CWU general secretary, said: “What Royal Mail needs is a Chief Executive who is committed to a public service ethos.

“It’s crucial now that Adam Crozier’s final days at Royal Mail secure an agreement on modernisation that provides a successful future for the company, its workforce and customers.”

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
